Anupama Hariharan never believed in choosing the familiar path. Over the past five to six years, she has emerged as a global mentor, training and guiding professionals both within and outside the research industry. Teaching, coaching, and enabling others became as important to her as her own growth.
Yet, Anupama’s sense of purpose extends far beyond professional success. Deeply committed to giving back, she actively contributes to philanthropic initiatives—mentoring underprivileged women and supporting members of the LGBTQIA community through coaching and guidance. For her, inclusion and empowerment are not buzzwords but lived values.
Creativity also flows naturally through her life. Writing and music offer her spaces of reflection and expression, balancing the intensity of her scientific work. Recently, this creative passion found powerful recognition with awards for both her debut poetry book and her novel, “Beyond Labels”—a title that mirrors not just her writing, but her life philosophy.
