Dr. Shivani Sharma: From a ₹7,000 Salary to Building Seven Physiotherapy Clinics
In 2011, Dr. Shivani Sharma PT began her professional journey with a simple purpose: to help people overcome pain and reclaim their quality of life. Her first salary was just ₹7,000 a month. At that stage, she could not have imagined that this modest beginning would eventually lead to the creation of PhysioAdviserIndia, a growing physiotherapy and rehabilitation brand serving patients through seven clinics across Delhi-NCR.
Her journey began with uncertainty. Like many young professionals stepping into their careers, Shivani often questioned whether physiotherapy was truly the right path for her. But that uncertainty gradually disappeared as she began treating patients and witnessing their progress.

Every recovery became a source of motivation. Every patient who regained movement, confidence, or independence reminded her why she had chosen this profession.
What started as a career slowly became her life’s purpose.
From a Modest Beginning to a Healthcare Vision
Building a healthcare brand from the ground up demanded far more than clinical expertise. Starting with limited financial resources and a modest salary, Shivani had to learn how to build patient trust, manage teams, expand clinics, and maintain high standards of treatment while handling the responsibilities of an entrepreneur.
The transition from physiotherapist to healthcare leader came with its own set of lessons.
Managing multiple clinics while ensuring consistency in patient care became one of her greatest challenges. She understood that growth in healthcare could never come at the cost of quality. For Shivani, every expansion had to remain rooted in ethical practice, clinical knowledge, teamwork, and patient-first care.
Continuous learning became an important part of that journey.
Rather than seeing challenges as reasons to stop, she used them as opportunities to improve her skills, strengthen her teams, and develop a clearer vision for the future of PhysioAdviserIndia.
Serving Patients When the World Stood Still
Then came the COVID-19 pandemic.
For healthcare professionals everywhere, the pandemic created unprecedented challenges. For Shivani, however, it also became a moment to serve beyond the walls of her clinics.
During this difficult period, she provided free helpline services and physiotherapy guidance for COVID patients, helping people access professional support when regular healthcare services were disrupted.
Her contribution was later recognized when she was honoured as a COVID Warrior in 2021.
For Shivani, the recognition represented more than an award. It reflected a fundamental belief that healthcare is ultimately about service.
Recognition Built on Patient Care
Over the years, Shivani’s commitment to physiotherapy and rehabilitation has earned her several recognitions.
In 2019, she received the Best Physiotherapy Service Provider in New Delhi Award, acknowledging her contribution to physiotherapy services.
She was also honoured as Consultant of the Year in 2020, while continuing to introduce advanced approaches to treatment, particularly in the field of Women’s Health.
These achievements became milestones in a much larger journey—one that began with a ₹7,000 salary and evolved into leadership across seven physiotherapy clinics.
Building the Future of Physiotherapy
For Shivani, the journey is far from complete.
Her vision extends beyond Delhi-NCR. She aims to take PhysioAdviserIndia across India, making accessible and evidence-based physiotherapy available to more people.
A significant part of her future vision is focused on expanding advanced rehabilitation services, particularly in women’s health. Alongside clinical growth, she also wants to mentor the next generation of physiotherapists and help young professionals develop both their clinical capabilities and their sense of purpose.
Her story is ultimately not just about the number of clinics she has built.
It is about what can happen when uncertainty is replaced by purpose, when a modest beginning is met with consistent effort, and when professional success remains connected to the people one chooses to serve.
From a ₹7,000 monthly salary in 2011 to leading seven physiotherapy clinics across Delhi-NCR, Dr. Shivani Sharma’s journey reflects the power of believing in the value of one’s work—and continuing to build, one patient at a time.
