Neera Paritosh:Teaching Values Beyond the Classroom
For more than three decades, Neera Paritosh has been a teacher. Thirty-three years in the classroom gave her more than experience—it gave her insight. She saw generations of children grow, change, and slowly drift away from something that once felt essential: values, respect, and the joy of learning.
What troubled her wasn’t the children alone. It was the silence at home.

Over the years, Neera noticed that parents began focusing only on marks, careers, and financial safety. During parent-teacher meetings, she often heard, “We have planned the child’s future financially. Values aren’t necessary.” The things she believed were precious—honesty, empathy, right and wrong—were dismissed as unnecessary. Children were becoming self-centred and ill-mannered, yet no one seemed concerned. Teachers stood alone.
That’s when Neera made a quiet but powerful decision.
What she had once planned to do after retirement, she chose to begin earlier. At 56, with six years of preparation already behind her, she started a campaign called “Parenting the Parent.” Her belief was simple and deeply rooted: when parents change their mindset, children change—and when children change, the nation does too.
Learning has always been Neera’s strength. She studied for 19 years, earned her M.Com and M.Ed, and never stopped growing. After the pandemic, beginning in 2020, she consciously invested in herself—completing 41 online and offline courses. Knowledge, for her, is not tied to age; it is tied to responsibility.
She put her thoughts into words through two books—Ripple of Words and Parenting the Parent—and stepped into the digital space to reach more people. From September 5, 2024, she began recording regularly, writing her own scripts, choosing her own topics, and speaking from lived truth. Today, her voice lives in over 120 Instagram recordings, long YouTube videos, and consistent content on Facebook—all aimed at inner change, not instant fame.
Neera also challenged herself in unexpected ways. In 2025, she participated in the VG Miss & Mrs India contest, where she emerged as Second Runner-Up in the Curvy category, winning a crown and trophy. It wasn’t about glamour—it was about courage, self-belief, and showing that growth doesn’t come with an expiry date.
She is now an International Life Coach, certified by GuniGuru and Puja Puneet, guiding people toward clarity, balance, and conscious living.
Many told her she was too idealistic. That honesty doesn’t pay. That values don’t sell.
Neera disagrees.
She believes a country can be wealthy and ethical. That peace of mind and comfort can exist together. That success can be earned with loyalty, dignity, and respect—without stepping on anyone else.
Her journey is not loud. It is steady. Purposeful. And deeply rooted in hope.
Because for Neera Paritosh, teaching was never just a profession—it was a responsibility. And her classroom today is the world.
