One day, while I was enjoying Bollywood music, he abruptly turned off my speakers, much to my irritation. He then asked me to follow him to his room, switched on his computer, and played the Aftermovie of the Tomorrowland Festival. Those 30 minutes were nothing short of magical. It felt like another world had opened up before me, like a door to another planet had just been unlocked. In that moment, I knew—I wanted to become a DJ.

The biggest challenge I faced wasn’t just mastering the technicalities of DJing; it was shattering the preconceived notions about female DJs. Time and again, I was met with skepticism—people assumed that because I was a woman, I wouldn’t be able to perform at par with my male counterparts. Changing that mentality became my mission. I let my music do the talking, proving that talent knows no gender. Through sheer dedication, relentless practice, and an unwavering belief in myself, I carved a space where my skills spoke louder than societal biases.
