Where Passion Meets Purpose: The Story of Vitika Chadda

For Vitika Chadda, it all began with a simple, heartfelt love for children. Long before titles, crowns, and corporate designations found their way into her life, she was the young girl neighbours trusted to care for their little ones. Even then, she felt a quiet certainty—being around children filled her with a joy that felt purposeful and pure. That early instinct soon transformed into a career in teaching, and once she stepped into the classroom, she knew she had found her calling. When passion leads, work never feels like work.

Yet Vitika’s story was never meant to stay within four classroom walls. Her creative spirit longed for a wider canvas. With a natural flair for presentation and expression, she stepped into the world of modelling and pageantry, first earning the title of Ms. VTI (Vidya Teacher Training Institute) in 2003. The recognition sparked something deeper—a belief that she could embrace both intellect and glamour without compromise.

That belief blossomed fully when she was crowned Mrs. India Universe Earth 2017–18, a milestone that elevated not just her public profile, but her inner confidence. Pageantry became more than a stage; it became a symbol of self-belief. Even as she collaborated with brands and explored her identity as an influencer, she remained grounded in the understanding that a woman can hold multiple dimensions—educator, creator, mother, leader—without losing her essence.

Her professional journey soon expanded into the dynamic world of events and brand management. As a Business Developer at Craftworld Events Pvt. Ltd. and later as an Assistant Brand Manager with KEI Wires and Cables, Vitika honed her strategic thinking, leadership skills, and eye for detail. Designing campaigns, building collaborations, and bringing ideas to life strengthened her ability to merge creativity with precision. Each role added a new layer to her evolving identity.

But life, as she says, often defines us through our toughest moments.

One such moment arrived during a pageant—an incident she now calls “The Rising Fall.” In the very first round, under the glare of media lights, her sandal broke and she fell. For a fleeting second, the world seemed to pause. Yet what followed became the true headline of her story. She stood up, barefoot, composed, and completed her walk with grace. She carried herself through every remaining round—and went on to win the crown. That fall did not define her failure; it defined her resilience. It taught her a lesson she carries to this day: no matter how hard you fall, you rise stronger.

Another test of strength awaited her far from the stage lights. When she moved to Canada to ensure her son would not have to face the challenges of student life alone, she left behind the comfort of her family—most painfully, her children. The separation was emotionally overwhelming. For a year, she navigated loneliness and longing, waiting for the day her children could finally join her. Even now, as she awaits her husband and permanent residency status, she continues to shoulder responsibilities independently, holding onto the vision of a brighter future for her family.

Through it all, education called her back home. The introduction of the International Curriculum reignited her intellectual curiosity, inspiring her to unlearn and relearn. Her years at Pathways School shaped her deeply, both personally and professionally, ultimately leading her to her current role in Canada as a Teacher and Planning Supervisor. In 2024, she achieved her Level 3 Early Years Educator certification in Canada—another testament to her dedication to lifelong growth.

With 23 years of diverse experience across teaching, planning supervision, event management, influencing, and beauty pageants, Vitika now envisions blending her multifaceted journey into social media and on-screen opportunities. At the same time, she dreams of opening a daycare in Canada—a nurturing sanctuary where children can grow, explore, and thrive under guidance rooted in experience, empathy, and creativity.

Her accolades—Ms. VTI (2003), Mrs. India Universe Earth (2017–18), National Super Women Award (2018), and Level 3 Early Years Educator, Canada (2024)—tell a story of achievement. But the title she treasures most is far more personal: watching her children flourish in Canada.
